Drive a new car out of the Dealers,,, for nothing

Post by Die Judicii » 17 Nov 2016, 8:25 pm

This is an all time best laugh we've ever had.

My partner decided it was time to get a NEW car.
After the decision was made as to what make and model, she went ahead with the proceedings.

Being a lease arrangement, she got the call from the lease company telling her when and where the vehicle would be ready.

On Tuesday I drove her to Brisbane to pick it up.
When we got there, the salesman took us out to the car and gave us a run down on all its features etc.
Then he shook our hands and started the car for her, and waved us goodbye.

Late this afternoon (Thursday) my partner got a phone call from the Lease Company asking her when we were going to pick up the vehicle ?

She said "I picked it up Tuesday morning why ?"

The lease man said, " UH OH,,,,,, we haven't paid the dealer for the vehicle yet."

Wow,,,, I'm thinking of going back next week and saying "I've just come to pick up my new Landcruiser" and see how I get along. :unknown:
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.

“Accidental Discharges” DO NOT OCCUR !!

An "Unintended Discharge" is nothing more than the lack of appropriate safety procedures or the failure to follow them..!

I love my country, but fear my government.

Thinking you should ask the leasing company to renegotiate a lower price now the vehicle is effectively second hand :)
