3 breath tests in an hour

Post by RealNick » 19 Dec 2016, 9:45 am

I was around Eildon on the weekend camping, they're going nuts on the random breath tests.

Pulled over and tested once.

Same again 10 minutes later.

Saw a third unit about 45 minutes later.

Bit overboard? :silent:

I rarely get pulled over but last time was on the motorbike. Copper was saying they have a quota to fill, minimum number of booze and drug tests to justify the funding they get. It's big dollars, specially for the company that supplies the roadside testing kits and a complete rort. But, what amazed me was how the bloke doing the actual testing was telling me this.

Is your car "fully sick" and you stand out like a sore thumb :P

Maybe that's your problem, Nick.... Why you get so many "random" breath tests

I like to chuck U bolts within sight of breath stations.

The cops get a big adrenaline rush and so do I

"WHY DID YOU TURN BACK!?"

"Because I wanted to go the other way"

Had the same thing happen to me a few years back. Blew in the bag twice by the same officer on the same road
