Any problems with Loctite on winch electric terminals?

Doesn't kill the flow or anything?

Just put it on the thread after the terminal is fitted, don't put it between the ring terminal and the body. And make sure you still fit the spring washer

Was mentioned in another topic, can't find it, but there is a loctite specifically for putting on already threaded bolts like this.

Seeps into the top of the thread so stays away from the ring terminal, exactly what you want

Scratch that, missed it somehow looking before.

Read this -> Adding loctite after bolts is already screwed in

Generally speaking the normal everyday Loctite is activated to set in the absence of air/oxygen, ie: Anairobic

So it is designed to apply to the thread first, and then tighten the nut/stud/bolt, thus closing off from air contact.
Theoretically, any Loctite left on the open to air surfaces will not set.

The new one that has been mentioned in another post is obviously designed to work differently.
I haven't come across it before, but it sounds good.
