I'm kind of glad you posted that. I've been wondering about one for a while and get reminded about them now and then when I see something online. I'm dubious as to how useful they are really, and I'd probably never be bothered stopping to put it on anyway

That's definitely my least used bit of gear. I've used it once to lift and push the truck out of a rut before I had a winch, and once to lift a wheel deep in sand to get a traction aid under.
I recently discovered a new use for it though, which is leveling the truck for the benefit of the roof top tent. If I can't find a perfectly flat bit of ground I face the truck down the slant and use the jack to raise the front the couple of inches required. Does the trick

I have a snatch strap and have never used it. That's because I know my limitations.
At least you have one. You don't have to have every bit of kit under the sun, but s**t happens, at least have the bare essentials for getting out of trouble.
Just don't be that guy who goes out and gets stuck, and has no straps and no recovery points
