Recovery safety reminder

An unfortunate remind for those of us who go off road to always check your shackles before use and never use a tow ball for recovery.
Can't find any further details but it's unlikely a broken snatch strap on its own is going to kill a driver, more likely a shackle has failed or a tow ball was being used as the recovery point...

It'll shoot the fleas off a dog's back at five hundred yards, Tannen, and it's pointed straight at your head!

Absolutely tragic!!
Using a blanket or mat on the strap can also help dampen the strap. :drinks:
This hard living ain't as easy as it used to be!!!
