Me I'd just build a fire to keep warm and cook on and use a head torch to light my way if and when I needed light.

People have lost their basic survival type skills, not good if something major happens in the world but I guess maybe it's Darwins way of thinning out the weak and stupid?

Maybe not serious trekking gear but great option for a compact camp kit. Not all of us go camping with 3 semi trailers worth of gear, a spa, pizza oven, air conditioner and 85man tent like BFS!
