These are on special on Saturday. Are they any good? Anyone purchased one in the past? Are they good value? $99

At $99 I'd say that's very good value but would they suit your purpose in chilly Victoria?

Temp shouldnt make a difference/be the same as all others, so camping in NT, SA or Vic is irrelevant...canvas doesnt keep you warm just keeps rain off you, its your bedding in the swag that keeps you warm...

Just check out the canvas specs...i rekon it'd be fine.
However i use & personally prefer a double swag, so i have plenty of room for a good few boom sticks next to me if necessary & im camped on public land....but they are more bulk to carry...

I rekon they look like the annaconda ones.

For warmth put some foil sarking beneath your sleeping bag &/or matress...insulated sarking is the bomb if you can scrounge an off-cut...

If your budget allows spend the extra coin and get the adventure kings big daddy, you won’t look back.

Plenty of room and proven quality, excellent price.

Mines been used and abused for quite some time now and I haven’t had a problem with it, it’s been in wild storms where gale force winds and 50 + mm rain in less than and hour had fallen, not a drop of water got inside.

A swag will be warmer inside in cool conditions, when all zipped up, heat from your body and breath gets trapped inside and warms up the air space and will be several degrees warmer than the ambient temps outside. I’ve slept in temps down to -6 deg C and was toasty warm in my +5 deg C sleeping bag (Colman Mudgee C5) and wearing shorts and t-shirt, I can’t sleep if I’m cold.
That particular morning froze the brake lines on my quad, I couldn’t move it till it thawed out........Property owners water pipes froze up too..

Well, got the swag. Looks like luxury to me. Especially compared to what I've been using for the last 15 or 20 years.

Did you pick up one of the cast iron skillets while you were there? $13 for a 30cm one.

Don't forget to waterproof it before you use it, think a few of us have made that mistake.

Yeah the canvas is treated, but all swags need to be seasoned by wetting thoroughly and drying a few times, so the canvas swells around the seams, to fully seal.

Ah a man after my own heart, I use a leccy blanket too in my swag, I was camping in -9 a while back and was warm as toast, others were shivering and bitching about the cold - not me, I just slept in my jocks  I love my Big Daddy Deluxe Swag, heaps of room and plenty of ventilation. I payed $160 from memory plus Delivery I think, either way it's been a great investment but she is bulky but IDGAF I wanted something with plenty of room and it has that in spades.
