New Camping Moon XD-2F Portable Stove

I was getting tired of the MSR Whisperlite multi fuel stove. It was hard to light, harder to light in the wind, burned black during the processes and that soot got on everything. The base was never level no matter how much I bent the hose. The bottle needed to be pumped while cooking if the shellite was low level.

This week I bought a Camping Moon XD-2F. It runs on isobutane with a lindal connector. Has a piezo starter and has fine tune control for simmer. What a difference it makes. Packs up nice and neat. Here it is boiling 500ml of water in 75 seconds. Bottle fits in Fire Maple G2 cup with heat exchanger.

Fire Maple make a rice steamer so I'll be getting one of them.
