Fishing for perch and walleye

Went fishing yesterday we got a late start got a few perch and a walleye

I'm looking forward to the warmer weather to start throwing some lures around and a few prawns.

All saltwater fishing for me.

i am far from salt water but i live in michigan just about the best fresh water fishing in the lowe 48 i like to fish for pike but the best fishing buy the detroit area is walleye and its about the best to eat

Yeh, they were blurry for me too. Freshwater in Australia is mainly our Bass, or Perch depending on where you come from, Murray Cod (they get huge) Yellow belly, trout, mostly brown and rainbow. Plus a few others including the Barramundi which is both fresh and saltwater.

I'm a fisherman but I don't hunt. Everyone I know hunts except for some family in Jersey, although I have friends and family in Jersey that hunt as well. I just kill stuff when I have to. And my hunter friends give me meat. I give away fish on occasion but I really don''t take it seriously. Fishing is more fun than food.

Sounds like most of you guys are culling a very massive herd by the thousands, be it bunnies or others.

We have a lot of feral animals here mate, in fact if it wasn't for the introduced animals hunting would be pretty boring. There's really not much sport in shooting kangaroos and it is part of our coat of arms, so we don't shoot them unless they happen to be in plague proportions which happens at times.
