Identify this generator?

I have been given a generator (said to be dead), output capacity unknown, which has a control panel as in the attached picture.
It is driven with a 4 stroke, single cylinder engine that can be started either by self container recoil rope or by an electric starter motor driven from an internal 12v motorbike type battery.
Age/vintage is unknown.
It has lifting handles at either end of the enclosure case. There are two cushioned feet at one end and two rollers at the other. None of the guts of the machine is visible without removal of side/end covers.
It "appears" that the original colour of the case was red, which has now faded to an insipid orange hue.
The fuel tank has a large filler cap located about 2/3 along the top of the machine. Fuel level is indicated by a float type indicator adjacent the filler cap.
Seems to have been a rather up-spec model in that it has a remote control function for starting, an "economy mode (much like the Honda's) so that the engine doesn't run at full revs unless necessary. The functional purpose of the 'STOP' button is yet to be determined. Doesn't seem to do anything at the moment.
Fresh fuel has brought the machine to life, starting by either method.
The generator produces 12v OK, but no 230ACv is available.

Does anybody recognise this and know a name/make/model for the generator. I'd like to be able to track down some user/service information for it, and hopefully bring it back to full use.

Pics of the the rest of the genny might help in identifing it. In clude some pics of the alternator/electrics if possible.

Looks similar to the Full Boar unit sold by Bunnings though these are a generic Chinese unit. Parts are readily available but a pic of the actual unit would be very help as just the control panel isn't enough.

As suggested, some more pics. Carburettor made in Japan, so not Chinese?

Some Chinese engine makers will use Japanese carburetor... well you as a importer can specify that cuz the Japanese ones are better quality. Same as you can specify what engine you want, like a Chinese engine, a fake hinda, or a Honda copy even a Chinese made licensed Honda engine.

Anyway i don't know brand, maybe a fuse for the 240v sockets is blown.

discontinued line from Jaycar. If it is an inverter model , (need some photos inside the covers) then the prognoses is not good. The inverter electronics will cost more to replace, than the buying a new a whole new genny, if you could even track down new electronics for it.

It's Chinese I'd say, if it's a Jaycar unit, as seen in this bit of blurb from their advert;
"These inverter generator units are petrol powered and differ from cheaper units, in that the engine (which is built to the same design as the market leading Japanese brands) drives a DC alternator.............."
Same units from the same factory were, no doubt, sold under a verity of brand names through retailers such as Bunnings, SCA ETC.
