Progress on the canopy....

Post by brinny » 07 May 2020, 2:28 pm

Made a bit of progress on the canopy....In fact its almost finished....
Just hope we dont go through another one of these lockdown period, cause i dont want to have to go through this again....
The original idea was just a frame covered in canvass....It sort of "changed" a bit....

Hopefully these restrictions we have placed on us get lifted ASAP ...
This project started off as just a frame and canvas over it....sort of changed as i went along as i had plenty of time to think about it and changes i could make....
If they dont lift soon....this thing will end up with a kitchen in it as well as an ensuite..

"Sort of changed a bit" from a canvas over frame canopy. Bit of an understatement don't you think. You'll need an extra leaf in the suspension too. :drinks:

6 lengths of 1.6mm square tubing...6 sheets of 1.6mm aluminium sheet....and some 12mm pine lining ......think the existing suspension will be fine....
