What goes on your hamburgers

Post by Jessie » 07 May 2014, 11:38 am

I got inspired to make a burger for lunch after the topic came up elsewhere.

Turned out I had bugger all in the house and ended up having mince on bread... It's crap

Man I love a good burger though.

What do you guys put on yours?

Some nice grilled chicken fillet, baby spinach, lettuce, all smothered in thick peri peri sauce on a good bun.

Or

Beef pattie, slice of cheese, beetroot, iceberg lettuce, and then smack some tomato/roman aeoli sauce on it, type of bun is optional.

I used to be big on that kind of thing at Nando's.

So damn expensive now. $11 or something for one that has a decent amount of chicken it in.

$5 tuck shop burger  :D  :)

I like to trim my brass and sprinkle the shavings over.

Salt is for girls.

Good old chicken burger IMO.

Chicken, tomato, lettuce. Hot sauce if it's your thing :)

I think it's a "flavour enhancer" isn't it?

I thought it doesn't actually taste good itself, but when you mix it with other things of flavour like meat, seafood, veg, whatever, it enhances their flavours.

It's not just like another salt I don't think...

it's a bit of salt with dried vegetable powder and msg - very nice on vegies/noodles/any sort of meat - makes a handy stock too
