How to **** up a casserole but good

Post by keen » 01 Feb 2015, 12:37 pm

The local butcher had goat legs on special so decided casserole was the order of the day.

Googled a good recipe, lots of herbs, tomatos, rich flavour! Yeah!

Calls for a cup of flour to thicken it up too, make that sauce reeeeal good.

And here's the pro tip = Don't mistake sugar for flour :(

Yes a cup of flour is just a tad over the top when it comes to thickening things up :D I love eating Goat Leg Roasts, just gotta make sure you don't over cook em as they are lean (those oven bags work well).

Better luck with the next one mate

Messing up the salt sugar goes both ways I remember making Mother's Day brekky in bed for the oldies and my sisters put a table spoon of salt in the pancakes. Didn't go down too well to say the least

Erm... Not sure you got the mistake? He put a cup of suger in mistaking it for flour.

(Or have I misunderstood and just explained something I didn't need to.... It's been known to happen )

Haven't tried it but I've seen a few recipes for 'coca-cola chicken' :huh

Added for the suger of course, sounds revolting if you ask me though.

I like goat curry:

What I don't like is when eating the authentic version you find they just chop it up and leave spiky and hot bones in it
