Nah never been  :?

I've always wanted to go but never had people to go with

that's why you might see me asking so many questions on here about everything because i don't really have any people around me who are involved in the whole hunting/camping scene.

How long's your cord for the electric blanket then? And does it interfere with the 4 poster?

You don't a ute with a canopy mate, just get yourself a good cheap dome tent like oldbloke said and make sure you've got good insulation from the cold ground and a decent bag to wrap up in. Don't be afraid to take your favourite pillow either. That business of cowboys using their saddles is big time BS.

Thanks for the heads up, would of been pretty embarassing to get lost in the neighbors back lawn with out my GPS and emergency beacon. I think I might take the EPIRB out of the boat   :drinks:

Anyone else finding the weather mind at the moment? hasn't really felt like winter at the moment (not around here anyway) I'm still getting around in shorts and T-shirt for the most part, we are expecting snow later on in the week ( we will see what happens there) not convinced we will get any. Winter really hasn't happened here as yet :unknown:

All the snow we recently got has melted except for on the higher peaks. The local ski resorts are under pressure. A small amount of snow is forecast tomorrow but not a significant fall. El Nino was forecast this year and appears to be happening.

Not good at all to hear mate, hopefully the snow will fall and get these businesses where they need to be. I did about the El Nino the other week, may well be the reason for the poor snow falls down that way and up here too. :unknown:

It does seem to go in cycles alright.
