I've got good boots. I've got my eye on a Drizabone riding coat depending on how I like the full length one (haven't tried it on yet) or maybe their short coat.
I have no idea about pants, brands, anything. I usually were crappy stuff that's not so appropriate for a rough Victorian night.
What are people wearing?
Ski gear. I've moved to rural Gippsland from Perth - the land of shorts and t-shirts all year round.
For months my feet were pretty much numb 24/7, I could never get them warm.
Then my neighbour wandered over one bleak morning and I noticed his boots and pants.
Ordered the same within the hour.
Otway Bushranger boots changed my life
Within an hour my feet thawed out and remained warm the entire winter.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SouthPlay-Unisex-Waterproof-Ski-Snowboard-Militarylook-Jacket-Pants-SET-/222106866058I was concerned about the longevity and expected I'd have to replace it each winter, but I wore it every day for months last year, in atrocious conditions. I even slept in it dozens of times. It has one small tear on the left forearm where the stitching broke, but it hasn't increased in size. I fully expect there's at least another couple winters in it yet. Very impressed with it.
