camp cooking

when in camp we have camp stoves but we seem to use the cast iron and dutch ovens the most i no there are lighter but its what we like what do you guys cook with i take a dutch oven 2 cast iron pans and a pot we tend to have about 6 guys in camp.

I take a small fold up barbecue plate and two camp ovens plus the billy. Also have one of the little gas cartridge stoves for boiling rice watet etc :thumbsup:
This hard living ain't as easy as it used to be!!!

We tend to pre-cook a bunch of suitable meals, cryo-vac and freeze them. Chuck them into a steel bucket full of water and put it onto the fire.

Very quick and easy, with no cleanup!

hmmmmm I always thought a dutch oven was when you farted in bed and pulled the sheets over your wife's head :lol:

This is really good way to cook in camp. Gives you a real meal and very easy.

Cooking...no time for that mate...i didnt come here to bludy cook....You can sit here & play youre master chef games, but Im here to shoot dood...!!!

Cook before i go away...stews etc...easy to heat food...throw in a saucepan & heat over the fire...quick scoff & back on the spotlight chasing them foxes & squeeze that trigger...!!!
