lovely pic- I haven't tried a CZ steel mag in mine.
I am gathering by the photo they obviously work fine so that's good to know !
They sure are sexy in black cerakote with a laminate stock.
Problem for me is I just cant bring myself to bash such a work of art stock around in a farm ute !

The Ute is 70% of its use and I have found the cerakote is tough enough to cope with knocks from the window sill and frame no probs and l use 6 mags , the 101 mag and the 6 and 10 shot cz both plastic and steel no problem.
It gets used out to 300y on steel plates a lot .

My 101 shoots CCI subs best and so do all my other .22's. I bought a 101 purely for patriotic reasons even though Lithgow are owned by the French. Mine stays in the safe though as I prefer my CZ as it shoots anything well whereas the 101 is very fussy. Mine has feed issues and I know it's an easy fix but at $1050 for a .22 it should not happen and was/is a real disappointment in what is otherwise an extremely well engineered and finished rifle. I think they also need to look into the magazine well and make it a little more snug as the mags are fairly loose and this may be a factor in the feed issues.

As much as I like mine they should have used the ruger mags
they would have been very nice to use 10 shots and no crappy
mag hanging out like a unwelcome turd ....

Eley Force has been great in my 101, less than 1/2 at 50yds, 1.25 at 100yds, haven't found anything better yet

According to Lithgow, the LA101 chamber was designed around the Lapua Center X round.

I believe that, the Lapua give me one hole groups at 50m every time

My spidey sense detects disbelief Allan.

I did say the rifle will do that, I lay no personal claim to such prowess.
The fact that a shaky old fart like myself can do it at all is more testament to the rifle than the shooter

And there it is Deye243, it was an 8mm hole.

The rifle was in a vise, fixed to a bench, with the trigger pull the only human contact.

Nah, all good Mate - I've put a lot of effort into finding the "ultimate" 22LR repeater over the years and I know better than most how unpredictable rim fires can be - The current unavailability of quality ammo in any quantity is not helping any either.

This is the best target I've shot in some time and with the wife's rifle LOL!

I bought her a Vudoo last Christmas and it's proving to be one of the better 22's we've had in the safe. Here's the rifle and a group she shot with it shortly after it arrived.

P.S. I still love my LA101's.

Wow, Allan, that's some tight shooting, better than I could do in my dreams, well done that man

I was just joshing with you about the disbelief, it is the internet, after all,.

Not in your league Allan, but I did these today, "minute of rabbit" will do me.
My printer was having a bad hair day so I had to improvise the target.

PS
The random seeming holes are shrapnel, I put the target too close to the backstop

Nothing wrong with that - Looks like yours shoots CCI Mini Mags just fine.

I'm quite surprised at that.
I had convinced myself that it liked subs the best, but it seems to love the Mini Mags, as you say.

They're a fair bit cheaper than the subs, so......
