Very nice early Model 69 with the optional M96B Humeston sight set, is the sight leaf marked with the Patent number 2014735 or still USA PAT PENDING? Also does it have the 69 stamp on the mag bottom? I have the same Humeston rear sight on my Savage M1919 NRA rifle

I really like this adjustable peep sight, it's simple, very well design/made, I don't know why other rifle don't use it
I bought this rifle mainly because the peep sight
I also like the mag release button and the front sight hood, if the barrel is 2-4 inch shorter will be perfect, will be a really light and handy rifle but long barrel got advantage too so no complaints especially only cost me 450 dollars

Glorious, 100% correct Model 69, correct mag and all. I think you did very well on the price, I've seen those peep sights sell in the US for over US$120 just on their own. Thanks for sharing this one,
