Cute.

Generous butt pad for no reason. Threaded just because.
Maybe 16 inch barrel . 10 round mags now. So that probably means 9.
Do like the dark stain. I actually like it for a compact little 22.

I must be getting persnickety in my dotage but the muzzle cap with the circumference greater than that pencil thin muzzle really irks me.

Probably cos the barrel is so thin that to get the internal thread in the cap and have enough wall thickness and still be knurled, it's gotta be like that. One wonders whether the shoulder on the barrel is adequate enough for a suppressor to bottom out square.
Also, maybe the "tacticool look-at-me" factor?
Always at the top of the list.

Hopefully the thread, whatever pitch they've decided to use this time, is cut to a better tolerance than the last few awful loose CZ threads have been lately that I've seen.

Thing I don't like about my CZ515 Tactical (a cheap acquisition during the WA Fire Sale) is the barrel has a block attached to it that is attached to the barrel hand guard. Sure it's short but there goes the floating barrel. It's not the round hand guard it's the hexagonal on with the M-LOK but I'm not sure if the round one has the same block

Either way it was cheap and is a lot of fun

Well have a look then ;) get a torch .
Because that block needs to go in the bin. I don’t think it can though. Needed to mount hand guard. Whoever designed this thing needs to be slapped across the back of the head.

At least you got the m lok hand guard. That round thing was useless and equally stupid.

Someone makes an extended lever for them if of interest to anyone. Pretty cool right. https://usedguns.com.au/products/19031982?_pos=29&_sid=798885520&_ss=r&_fid=8f8572ac8

There’s some dumb law, in vic anyway, with 22 rim fire, where a lever action can’t exceed 10 round capacity. And apparently these still fall under lever action.

I’ve got 15 round ruger mags for my ruger bolt action. And I nearly bought a 96/22 because it was mint condition. But s**t I couldn’t use my existing mags by dumb law . Just dumb.

As for pencil dick .
You could by a second hand one. Chop it to 500 mm I think is the vic limit. Re stain the stock. Fun little project and save about a grand or more.

Someone just needs to make a vertical coupler for those mags.

In VIC its 15 rounds for a rimfire mate:

Schedule 2—Special conditions for licences
under Part 2
1 Longarm licences for category A or B longarms:
...
(8) If the holder of the licence has obtained the
licence for the reason of hunting or sport or target
shooting, the licence is subject to the condition
that the holder must not—

(aa) possess, carry or use a detachable magazine
with a capacity greater than 5 shots in
combination with a bolt or lever action
shotgun; or

(a) possess, carry or use a detachable magazine
with a capacity greater than 10 shots in
combination with a pump or lever action
centre fire rifle; or

(b) possess, carry or use a detachable magazine
with a capacity greater than 15 shots in
combination with a bolt action centre fire
rifle; or

(c) possess, carry or use a detachable magazine
with a capacity greater than 15 shots in
combination with a pump, lever or bolt
action rimfire rifle

And I have one of those extended levers and I dont like it, it makes it feel sloppy because there is sooo much travel. Im going to remove it and put the stock one back on, it was faster and felt a lot better

Thanks for the correction jezzab

15rd CatA capacity only applies to detachable mags, I'm not aware of any restriction on fixed mags for CatA. My Henry lever holds 23 Shorts, 18 Longs or 16 Long Rifle, perfectly legal.

You can use your BX15's in other rifles, including levers, great mags. If you also own a Charger pistol then you can't use any magazine over 10rds in it, that would be illegal.

Unless it's just the photo, I reckon the laminate looks odd with a short barrel and all butt.
My std beech CZs look better with the normal longish pencil barrel.
The thread and cap is just stupid.
