Hah ok - I suppose yours is a 24”. I guess that explains the ~80fps difference. I thought that 1gr less of powder would have had more of a detrimental effect on speed. I stand corrected TT. :drinks:

You had me questioning it as well - my chrono was knocked over from a friends 300wm tikka and the plastic casing took a tumble so there's a chance ? I guess it could be reading wrong but it does match up closer with expected 260 rem fps.

How were they difficult to deal with?

I have bought stuff from there for a few years, I send them my money and magically the item appears on my door step. That shop and the Q Store are about my favourite. Oh I forgot about BRT who are the best.

I've found their website a bit clunky to use. the search criteria could be a bit more selective as it takes you to areas that I thought were not relevant. After ordering stuff online I've gone to my cart to pay the bill only to find more stuff there. I'm certain that its not the intention of the company and maybe my computer skills but i haven't experienced similar issues with other stuff I've ordered online.

I will have to check the ROT on my 222's. I have a mod70 ans a 788. The 22-250 is 1/14 so these might just be a tad heavy.

I don't see why a 22/250 wouldn't stabilise this round with a 1:14 twist rate. It has a ton more speed than a 223 or 222.

AZZA'S HJ47 ,

Thanks for the hints on projectile info. Have the info now and also appreciate the info re charge weights with 2206H from everyone. Keen to do some testing starting about 22.8 and moving up. Will report my progress, when the ranges open up again, don't have places to load test with out them.

Finally got to the range and tested a few weights of or 2206H with these projectiles. Covid stuffed me around for months. Shot this group last Saturday at 100 metres. Not too shabby. It will do me anyway. Actually found that I can not upload photos, probably lack of knowledge. Ended up with four shots into a 5 cent size group. By the way TassieTiger my optimal weight was 23.5 gn also. Thanks to previous people who have assisted with knowledge, made it much easier.
