Another, unrelated, question on the Savage 25, there was talk a couple of years back of it being released in 5.7x28 caliber, anyone know if this happened?

I own a a couple of model 29s and a stevens model 75 which is the same. Model 29s were made from 1929- 1967 they are usually 22" octagonal barreI or post war round barrel. I haven't found a nice model 25 they are 24" octagonal made from 1925-1929. Dont fire high velocity 22lr rounds in them or u will have extraction issues. Use standards or sub sonic's is my recommendation.
