Anyone interested in Aguila ammunition?

I have always wanted to try some of their specialised 22LR ammo over the years. Not for practical reasons, just as a curiosity. I have seen them occasionally turn up on Australian distributor pages but have never seen them in stores. Anyone ever got their paws on this stuff?

I'd be interested in trying the 60gn stuff, but not enough to go to the expense of trying to import some. I've never seen it in Australia.

You'd have to be sure that you had fast enough rifling twist for the 60gn projectile.
I'd rather get my hands on some of the 5mm Rem Mag that they are making again. Might be a while before it turns up here though.

Good point, they suggest 9"-twist which I doubt anybody offers in a factory rifle. Would work okay in a .223 chamber adapter though.
That 5mm stuff looks very expensive.

Aguila brought in a lot of American ammo and production consultants in recent years to up their game and improve quality. I've shot it in many different calibers, seems to work ok.
