Anyone who has ever tried to keep a scope stationary on a big springer air rifle will know what this is intended to do.

There is a new version that fits 30mm and 1" scopes:

One thing to check somehow is if the bottom of the scope will clear the mount (between the rings), of course there is less clearance for 30mm scope tubes.
I was interested in this mount, for some reason that I can't remember now (it might of been the concern about whether the scope would clear) I went with the SportsMatch DM70 (for a 30mm scope).
