Doesn’t have a muzzle brake. Strange for something so powerful.

What is it and where do I get one? I just realised that I really, really need a single shot 22WMR......
The pen may be mightier than the sword, but personally I prefer the .30/30 Winchester.

just came back fro St Mary's
1-4 scope VX-HOG 50 meters bench rest
trigger's very heavy, especially compares to my two Rugers which replaced trigger spring with ball pen springs  the rifle is light and short, it's not very stable on the rest but kind of comfortable to shoot and handle the gun

first try different ammo, got this 3 shot group with Hornady V-max 30gr, not too bad

try to zero the scope for V-max 30gr Hornady, another 3 shot, adjust too much, come back a little, should be zeroed now, the last one fly far away, could be me could be the barrel heat up again (still can be covered by 50 cent coin though..), will try more later,

Whats the rail set up you've got on it? I've got one too but the plastic rails are pretty hopeless. Hoping to upgrade the open sights rather than put an optic on it though.

Oh and it folds neatly in half. That’s just great.
So it will fit in my safe.
Oh crap, look at all the aftermarket stuff you can get to customise them.

Not entirely certain without trying myself but appears like SHV has removed the plastic rails and mounted a series of these or similar https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/193140417937?hash=item2cf810e591:g:YqgAAOSwkr5ZktKk

There’s different variations on those that offer quad or bi rails. I’d go with an alloy version because the advantage of this gun is the weight.
Being in there is none. You could attach it to a belt loop.

My badger is still a work in progress. The plastic rails need to go. They are good for nothing. In fact you can only use two at a time because of how they are mounted. And whatever you mount flexes. Well actually the whole gun flexes :D
It is what it is. It’s not a great gun but its just so much fun.
Great care has to be taken removing the rails. They are torque screws, however a driver that fits them precisely dose’nt exist in the world. The shroud beneath has mitered corners, allowing for SHV’s clever solution.

I haven’t had any misfires with mine and the potential for great accuracy is there, as SHV has shown.

The other issue is a consistent cheek well. Being in there is none :D
But you need to get your parallax sorted
Red dots on these seem popular, but the fast aiming compact scope is where its at. Looks like a 1-4 or 1-6 on SHV’s ?

I love this thing. When i eventually figure out what I’m doing with it I’ll post pics. But thats the fun of it, constantly evolving and improving on something thats very rudimentary.
But still your need to keep it simplistic or you defeat its purpose.
The challenge is minimalism and efficient function, cosmetic appeal for the win.
Well played SHV

And then theres the trigger. Well what are you gonna do. It’s bearable. I mean it works, so theres that. :D

And the threaded end cap mine came with was plastic. Was, as in it’s in the bin.
Do i need a muzzle brake. Hell yes i do
