Winchester Lead Pellets

Post by FNQ » 08 Jan 2020, 2:44 pm

Heard a rumour that Winchester won’t be producing the red and black box’s of lead pellets in the near future.

Something about lead being bad for us and environment..

Can anyone confirm or deny?

Perhaps. Products made of lead do have OHS problems associated with it but nothing that cant be controlled.

Perhaps they are finding hard to compete here, in part due to the aditional costs but that would surprise me because its far from huge in the scheme of a large production line.

Or perhaps just consolidating back to USA. More likely i think.
