That’s cheap. I thought I saw them on special some where. Around the $799

Be interested to see and carbon barrel and muzzle brake go!

yes list price is 1,200+, some special price is around 800-900 then the best deal is 595 package now

I'll put this thumb hole stock to my CZ455 22WMR as the hunting rifle and put this carbon fiber barrel rifle into at-one laminate stock then have a try

Muzzle brake on a rimfire? Don't get me wrong, I have 3 CZ rifles - 452, 527 and 550 - and I'm a believer in the brand but if I had to have a muzzle brake on one of my rifles then maybe, maybe (and even then "Ummm, no"), the .270W might be a contender but even this old, poor excuse for a shooter doesn't yet see the need for a brake on my .22LR
YMMV.

Yep....I even took one off my 458 coz it's just a waste of time and not necessary....just make guns loud. Be great if all you did was shoot targets with ear muffs on....don't always get that luxury in the field. But that's a flipping excellent price for that rifle. I'd be interested to handle one to see how light it is

as MB it is not necessary but for the carbon fiber barrel sleeve, it is the connector

very interesting thing is this:
after remove the carbon fiber sleeve/muzzle break, it shows the real barrel is 16 inch long  the sleeve and MB is 20 inch...
and the thread is not 1/2 28

That’s not the case with the right brake BigPete.....(except for the loud bit!) I’ve got one on a 45-70 that works a bloody treat.
But I have no idea why it would be a factory fit on a 22LR.
Ripper looking little rifle though!!
Nice buy!

Not to dig this thread back up, but how do you actually like the rifle? I'm looking at the Carbon, rather than the thumbhole - thoughts? You said alright for hunting, have you had much of an opportunity to chase some bunnies with it yet?

I have/had a few 22s inc. lithgow (had). for that money the CZ455 is a good buy if you don't mind 90 degree bolt and bolt handle a little short and small

not yet go hunting with CZ but I reckon the CZ will be much better than lithgow especially if you remove the carbon sleeve, it will be much easy to carry and handle

OK, that makes sense. Apologies to any who took offence (but I'd prefer a solid piece).
