CZ 455 Carbon and Carbon Thumbhole

Does anyone own one of the Carbons or Carbon Thumbholes that Horsley etc are selling as a package deal?

Are they decent guns? There's something about a carbon sheath on the barrel, but what's the barrel actually made of? And what's the purpose of the carbon sheath? I'm hunting (pardon the pun) for a bunny-buster that'll also do occasional range duties. Are these the go? Or should I look at a second-hand Lithgow or similar?

Just bought one with the thumbhole. Haven't got it yet. First time I've held a thumbhole. Loved it. Got the package at horsely park. Sensational deal.
