Just finished a cool old book.
AG Banks' "Random Writings on Rifle Shooting" from 1943 is a compilation of some of his articles in Rifleman magazine during the 1930's into the 1940's, primarily relating to .22 rimfire shooting, competition and experimenting. He was a fan of shooting the tiny cartridge out to 300yds. He was the first to win the Queen's Cup competition in 1907, and was dedicated to the SMRC (Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs) from its earliest days.
I found some extracts at the Rifleman.org.uk site.
