SA PTA approved

Post by SAnewb85 » 28 Oct 2020, 7:24 pm

After 9 months of torture, expense, waiting, more paperwork and such i finally had my 1st PTA approved.
Picked up a really nicely stocked cz457 Varmint with a 20in barrel.

Unfortunately the optic i had in the safe was damaged in transit a few months ago so I won't be shooting it for another few weeks.

On an entirely unrelated note, she looks a little lonely in the safe. Might have to put in my cat B PTA this week, unsure what to get at this stage, my local range only has 300m and limited to hunting ammo only, no jacketed projectiles (i think that's what he said)

if you were in WA I'd say go for the Biggest calibre/cartridge you can ever conceive of yourself using for anything, then work back down from there.
