pick up a single shot little rifle for 85 dollars (30 dollars PTA on top), short, light and easy to takedown

no need tools to loose the screw under the stock, put them apart in few seconds

single shot bolt action, the same action Anschutz made long time ago

G'day SHV,
What you have there is a 1920's era rifle designed and originally made by Rempt for a company named Luna. Luna were bought out by JGA (Anschutz) who copied the rifle under their own name as well as exported bucket loads to the trade with whatever name you wanted on it. A very nice example you have and it should terrorize bunnies for many more years to come, Cheers.
PS: From your post do I understand the NSW charges $30 for a rifle PTA?

yes in NSW each PTA cost you 30 dollars, apply on line and post to you in around 2 weeks time...

thanks a lot you know everything about guns :drinks: very happy to know the history of this little rifle, I re-blued the front part of the barrel, it looks better now

it really surprise me how smooth and light the trigger feels although the travel is quite long

SHV whats rifle chambered for ?

I had a similar single shot, was originally chambered in Vierling but had a had a 22 K hornet reamer thrown down it. Lovely little punchy rifle

yes, cold blue surprisingly good on this rifle, I don't know why, on other rifle it never get this kind of deep gloss finish....
