I'm curious as to why you want a tighter twist, are you loading your own .22LR ammo with longer bullets?

As mentioned already, any machinist can cut a barrel blank to fit your rifle. Give your own barrel and he can duplicate it.

There are Aguila 22LR available with 60grn projectiles. Definitely require a fast twist, and good for long range.

Yes, I know, but the SSS require 9"-twist from memory, and being subsonic, 60gn bullets are not really suited to long range.
