1951 Lithgow .22 magazines, and other parts

HI all,

I've just taken over my granddad's 1951 Lithgow .22 but it is missing its magazine. Want to know if anyone knows a good place to get a replacement and any other accessories that might go with it.

Gold Coast Shooters Supply usually has Sportco/Lithgow magazines, Wattle Grove in NSW often have Lithgow parts also. Other than that just keep an eye on the parts listings of usedguns etc ,Cheers.

Rebels have a Model 12 mag, which is of that era. I don't know about compatibility though.

That rebel mag will fit. You can also use any Winchester 22 mag from models 69/ 75 or 490. They are the same mag. Also CBC mags and some remington(511) and a couple of savage mags. The original Bibby mags are harder to come by, but are usually cheaper than that aftermarket one.
