.22LR lever long barrel options

Post by bladeracer » 18 Jun 2022, 2:54 pm

Due to my eyesight I'm looking for a longer barrel lever-action rifle in .22LR.
Along the lines of one of the Henry Frontier models with 24" barrels.
My dealer says he can't get me Henry so I'd have to get it elsewhere and have it sent down. I don't mind doing that but if I can buy one directly through him I'd prefer to.
So, other than Henry are there other manufacturer's doing longer-barrels?

I might end up just making a tube that presses on the muzzle to extend the sight out about 200mm.

Yep, that's the one. Great with the 24" octagon barrel. And such a nice, short, lever cycle arch.

Thanks for this.
It is beautiful, but I can't see me paying $1750 for .22LR lever.
That's Cleaver's price which might not even be current.

Not bad, but I'd rather pay the extra $250 and get a new one. $1500 is too much for a secondhand one unless it was something you were really hunting. The aperture sight is a nice addition.

I'll have a look at lengthening my barrels I think.
