I thought I might have to have one of these, bugger powder and primers, then the ~$4000 price tag gave me a reality check.

Plus the cost of air tanks and pumps. They're a significant investment, but they do give you independence from ammunition supply chains, especially if you can cast your own bullets. I'm still considering the idea but I think I really need to see one shooting in the flesh before I could lay out that sort of money. I'm also curious about longevity and reliability. It doesn't help avoiding ammo woes if you're always waiting months on seals or other parts to keep it running.

1000 dollar howa in 308. Then buy 3000 dollars worth of factory ammo. More effective in so many ways
