Night vision or thermal for air rifle

I have 2 weihrauch 97k, one in .177 and the other in .22.

I use them for fun and vermin. The rat numbers appear to be increasing around here and I was wondering what others are using for NV, thermal or torch. I use a led lensor torch that works ok most of the time. Set up can be a bit irritating at times.

Are there cost effective NV or thermal that others use? Budget doesn’t extend to Thermion or similar

I'd go with night vision with 940nm ad range finder.

Cheaper than thermal and you can see their eyes at rat ranges.
