Does it shoot any better in the chassis? I shoot better with the chassis. The pistol grip allows me to take a consistent grip and therefor trigger set with my half finger. With the timber grip it always changed and would often give me a 1 in 5 flyer, which gave me cause to get real grumpy. Its a heavy beast, but shooting from a bench or window solves that. If I'm carrying, it goes over the shoulder and rests on the bipod. I just took delivery of a 30MOA rail which will lift the scopes up a bit solving the problem of the ring height. Next stop is having a look at the PRS/NRL 22LR shooting. What's really interesting the way 22LR are with ammunition. This one likes that, that one likes this .My CZ457 likes Eley subs ($19) and Norma TAC's ($13) go through the same hole. My Mod 2 loves the CCI subs. When I reached for my wallet to pay for some SK, the wallet bit me. The same model rifles in someone else's hand can be a totally different picture. Its all fun.
My wife knows me well.
The dog often reminds me of that
