Old thread, but here's my PWS T3 straight pull...

Nice gun - as accurate as I am anyway. Well balanced - if a little heavy for a .22. Never had an issue with it. My only bad comment would be that it has trouble extracting Winchester Zimmer .22 when I'm plinking on the quiet. I think it's probably an issue with the rounds more than the gun though as it extracts fine on everything else.

Ugh. Even the Brits get semi .22s. Although their laws are much worse than yours overall.

:(

Can you guys put stocks on handguns? Get a good semi handgun, put a stock on it. Longer barrel if you like. Something that will be .22 rifleish.

What about that Ruger 10/22 handgun thingamajig? You can probably get an aftermarket stock for it. The possibilities for any 10/22 form are endless as I am sure you know. Including bullpup, MG-42, you name it.

You mean the ruger charger?

Still technically a handgun so can only be used as such, which basically means club only. You can't take it out the paddock to pop bunnies

I'm going to admit that I did not think it was possible to convert a blow back design into a "straight-pull" gun. So how does it lock the bolt in the forward position?
I've been asked: "How many guns do you need to have?" My answer remains the same: "One more."

Just because it's possible doesn't mean it's worth the effort

Can't see the point. There are already some nice straight pull 22lr available that IMO are better than 10/22.
