Gamo Zombie Air Rifle

Post by Pom » 11 Dec 2014, 6:02 pm

Before anyone starts. I know, I know... Zombies... So over it.

It's for the junior about the getting his license in the near future and that's what he's got his eye on.

Kids right...

So that aside anyone know what the word on these is?

Decent? Problems?

I think 'cheap' is about the only word to describe them.

They're $250... Obviously not going to be amazing but I'm sure you don't expect that.

For the first one for a knock about, why not.

Cheap, synthetic to be durable. It'll do until they appreciate something better and it's worthwhile spending $$

I realise it's not going to be a stunning rifle for the money.

Just trying to avoid buying junk for the sake of the kids liking the word 'zombie'.

Down to buying what he needs or what he wants at the moment.

Just my two bobs worth... Get a nice decent air rifle with a synthetic stock and get some spray paint and stencils and help them design it.

That's what I done with my young fella.

That could work...

He's into the whole camo thing at the moment because it's "cool", could go that angle...

I like it. Cheers.

Weihrauch HW77 in synthetic - under lever too! Admittedly over double than the 'zombie' though

I wasn't going to argue with him wanting the cheap one but as usual, better to do it right than do it twice.

Dedicated a few more dollars to it won't hurt to get something that will last.

I bet you remember exactly when and what your first gun was.

He'll love it.

Gave it a good run yesterday, wile I didn't think it was that powerful as the guy was saying the kids were happy, we had another one there but cant remember the brand but the same FPS.

The big difference was the IGT over the spring type, the spring gives a kick but the IGT is pretty smooth.
