Ain't it the truth
Something for you to consider SkippyK1
Look closely at the specs and think about what you want.
I'll give you the reason I went for the 64 MPR
I would have liked a 54 action but too expensive, In reality a 64 was probably going to be better than me anyway so it's now about Barrel, Stock and Trigger.
Trigger;
Both BR an MP have the 5098 two stage match trigger.
That’s what I wanted but be warned they are VERY light.
Stock;
The BR is a purpose designed Bench rest stock great to put into a rest but not good to hold in your hand.
The MP is Multi Purpose the fore end is flat enough to sit in a rest but is also comfortable to hold if you want to shoot prone or standing.
Barrel;
The BR is 66cm but the stock is shorter so overall length is 98cm
The MP is 65cm overall is 110cm
The thing most people miss is the odd muzzle diameter 23mm on the MP.
Why? Because the muzzle has a dovetail for target peep sights!
The receiver is standard 11mm dovetail so can take either front peep or scope.
I ended up putting a scope on mine but if I find a set of peeps at the right price I’ll get them.
See if you can cop a feel of a BR or MP you might be surprised at just how heavy it is.
If you want an all rounder the 1416D a SAKO, BRNO or CZ all fit the bill.
Good luck with what ever you get.
There's always room for at least one more gun in my safe.
