Involves each contestant throwing an empty soft drink can about 8 or so metres in front of the firing line and on the ready, set, go the idea is to get your can over the 25 metre mound first. Seeing this alone was enough to make me want a lever 22.
Gwion wrote:NorthEast. Look out on UsedGuns left hand section. Usually a 22LR lefty on there every few weeks.
I have a T-bolt lefty but was looking at CZ & Lithgow as well. Dunno any real cheapies in lefty.
Gwion wrote:People were also telling me lever or 10/22 for lefties (apply for C). Went the tbolt. It also ejects from the right. You don't even notice the 22 shells. That was a concern when I bought mine but no worries at all.

The sale was done in about 2 minutes so just have to wait for the PTA to turn up. Pretty well have everything covered now with the .30-06, .204 and now a .22. Let's see how it shoots?

your still missing one ingredient!
ever man needs a nice shotgun
North East wrote:Nah, I don't need a shotgun. This Winchester will just be the proverbial plinker. No intention of putting a scope on it, open sights all the way.
The Aimpoint scope on my .30-06 has no magnification...I'm going to treat this the same way, albeit with iron sights.

That's the one thing my safe is really missing. A good lever with just the irons on it, no scope.
