Savage model 25 LVT

They say everyone needs at least 1 rimfire rifle in their collection, so here I go

I'm pretty set on .17HMR as calibre for the extra range. Not really interested in .22's I don't think.

I'm keen on the Savage Model 25 LVT for my rimfire.

At the moment I have a stainless sporter with synthetic stock, and the Savage would be a whole bunch of firsts for me to try.

First rimfire, wood stock and thumbhole grip are new too.

Pretty sold unless someone's got some negative feedback on the rifle?

If you want a longer range rimfire .17HMR's definitely the one to shoot.

Can't go wrong with a Savage.

I've got an old Axis that's been a knockabout rifle for 15 years and still shoots fine.

I recently picked up a new Savage Model 10 and it's been great.

Chambered in 22-250, not rimfire, but still great.

I'd say thumbs up based on my Model 10.

Personally not a fan of thumb hole stocks, other than that though... A good first rimfire IMO
