Yay I picked it up today and went straight to the range. It's a Browning T-Bolt left-hand 17HMR, synthetic stock and varmint version, which means it has the high comb and the heavy barrel. The synthetic T-Bolt has a spare mag carrier in the butt which is nice. The mags take 10 rounds and are a double helix design.
The scope is a Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40 BDC reticle.
I put 200 rounds through it and it's grouping nicely, 20mm at 50meters and really good at 100m also. I was having fun at the end picking off shotgun shells at 50M and broken clays at 150M and further - this thing sure is accurate.
The main ammo was CCI A17, fed beautifully through the fantastically engineered helix magazine. I also had 50 of a Federal hollow-point load which was accurate enough but would NOT feed in to the chamber from the mag, the tip was to low to enter the barrel, I had to load them manually one at a time. Live and learn I won't buy them again the CCI is super accurate enough for anyway.
