I'll be going in for my 3rd and final attempt to try my potentially dodgy CZ455 rifle. If anyone is going to be there, I'd love to let you have a shot.
Tonight I'll bite the bullet and check the bedding as many suggested. I don't like having to dissasemble something I bought new but will be good to learn I'll also remember to bring a screwdriver to the range to play with the action bolts. But if it's still bad, it's going back to the shop.
I tried 9 ammo types last weekend and mostly nothing. Strangely, the range's federal ammo shot well the first two magazines. After that I tried CCI and then, nothing worked. Elley club, sport, match, RWS, CCIs, Federals.. nothing. The Federal High Velocity ammo that seemed to be ok at the start actually become the most inaccurate. One of the supervisors also tried to shoot the Elley ammo and only got a 1.5 inch group. Interestingly, he also noted something I had initially brushed off. My 9x Athlon scope doesn't seem to be a true 9x. He commented that it's weird and that his 9x scope zooms closer. I will take photos to compare. Might have to return both scope and rifle!
