Okay, I take it back :) I got skinner sights, specifically for BL-22 (http://www.skinnersights.com/rimfire_gr ... ts_25.html).

The front sight from Skinner however had to be filled down, shoots fine now. I mean, I don't know how well it groups, but consistently knocks down cans from places. Actually, been shooting at a 5cm wide pole recently (long story, makes a fun ding sound) at 50m and it puts them in there consistently. If you are interested, feel free to PM me and I will measure the front sight height so you know which one to buy.

thanks a lot, I will use it as a machine gun to shoot the rabbits with torch for now, iron sight may be is not the best choice, will use the scope for a while

Scope is probably more practical & versatile but peep's are a little more suited to a quick handling lever IMO.

Nice rifle though.

The rifle would look wicked, with one of the 'Malcolm' style 6x scopes.
Bugger, I shouldn't have thought of that, now I want one. :D

The BL-22 is truly one of the finest 22s on the market. Light, quick and accurate I shot my dad's a whole lot, eldest brother inherited it, and as much as I like/love my Marlin 39A, if I had the money I'd have a BL-22. The BL-22's short throw lever design makes it the fastest cycling gun this side of a semi-automatic.
I've been asked: "How many guns do you need to have?" My answer remains the same: "One more."

this one is no bad too, if the scope got more power (it is a 4.5x max power scope) could be even better

tried few ammo this evening, some ELEY is good but a bite pricey such as ELEY EDGE

CCI is not bad for the price

SK standard plus ls the best

very hard to shoot Winchester very well, it got the worst 10 shot

T22 is like usual, very unstable, 5 shot really good but other 5 fly

SK standard plus 15 shot 50 meters

I didn't clean the barrel for each brand ammo, so the accuracy may affected by the last ammo

also light, short lever action rifle with max 4.5 power scope, heavy trigger all get the the thing ugly

after get used to this rifle and not change the ammo too often, I hope the CCI can get the SK's accuracy and SK can do better...

I have Bl 22, beautifull little gun, I shoot it more than any other gun I own, its perfect for a small property eslecialy for close range bunny or winged vermin control. I use CCI quits or winchester Z's just to keep the neighbours happy and I plink all day without having to worry about the local plod paying a visit
