50 meters will be the chest, 20-30 meters may try the head, especially off hand

got two made in China fixed power scopes to try
they are short, most important thing is their eye relief is short too, they match BL22 much better than other normal scopes due to BL22's receiver is short and close to butt stock

one is Beeman SS2 copy

Ohhunt looks good. Circa $50 on AliExpress...

How are you finding it, in terms of clarity compared to your Leupold? And overall quality/water proof/gas seal, etc?

need long term to find out

some factories in China were military suppliers years ago, built by Russian's technicians, some Russian's factory and equipment were captured from German WWII...those quality is kind of ok, clarity always not bad for the fixed power scope(most of them only got 4 pieces glasses), the coating is average though, some from good factory, good batch are really good, military grade, some average or below average, you never know

others are rubbish made by toy factory

SS2 is heavy and big
optic is average or below average
kind of dark
the image lack of details
not easy to obtain a clear and detailed image, very fussy on observer's position
the image kind of small, looks like see through a pipe
the reticle is cool
AO sometimes is a nice feature
elevation can be adjusted directly, but don't know if tracking is reliable

the cheaper, shorter and lighter Ohhunt is much better
the image is clear, bright and full of details, I give it 8.5 out of 10, consider the cost I will give it 9.5 out of 10
the image you can see is much bigger than SS2, even bigger than normal scope's
the reticle is very useful
tracking is not bad from this evening's test

got second hand VX-HOG 1-4x20 for 200 dollars inc. low leupold rifleman rings, happy with the price
put on BL 22, more comfortable than VX-3 1.5-5X20 due to it is shorter, optical is really good
