A few more reviews of the Ruger on Rimfirecentral but I still haven't seen anything from Tikka owners yet.

In general how do people think they shape up...?

Does one wait and see what they’re like or go and buy a Lithgow LA101?

Are there other Tikka rimfires that this is likely to have interchangeability with?

I too think .17hmr is probably something I'll pass on as I'd rather get a 223. They do have their place where noise can be a factor if you want more reach than a 22LR

More intrestest to see how the .22 goes.
The 17hmr doesn’t do much for me anymore. Throw in a dirty barrel, a little bit of wind. Even a blade of grass. The accuracy goes out the window. Considering the the ammo can be close to $30 per 50. I’d rather be shooting my 223.

Ruger American target looks very nice, I want one too even I've got 3 22 rifles already
