Three Foxes and four Bunnies.

I was back at one of my favorite long range Bunny patches last Saturday only to find the numbers were much lower than the last visit.
I remember seeing a fox there last time having a good look around and chasing a few of the locals but I didn't take a lot of notice until this time.
After setting up the .223 at around 300yds away I spotted a Bunny and ended his career, then one by one they appeared.
Three foxes had decided to use my Bunny stock as a main food source and over the past month or so had reduced the numbers down to a quarter of the original population,.
The first one was shot at 272, the second at 282 and the third at 275yds plus a few more rabbits at ranges from 255 to 330yds chucked in for good measure.
All foxes were in poor shape with about 30% fur loss due to mange and their tails matted with thorns and grass seeds, they all looked like they needed a good feed .
The conditions were very windy with full value crosswinds from 25 to 32kph so I decided to keep the range under 350yds to give the .223 a chance, hopefully my target stock will make a come back now the hunting pressure is off.

Nice shooting as always.

Any chance you can screen shot some and paint in the aim point hold off, or were you dialling in on the scope?
