A few more Bunnies past 300 yards

Post by Elmer » 03 Apr 2016, 8:30 pm

Heres another vid on a some more Bunnies with the .223, first two both head shot and the last one coped it behind the shoulder breaking his spine which resulted in a few spins before expiring.
The first one was a bit tricky at 325 yards with a rock covering the target zone and only allowing a neck or head shot to be taken, the next at 325 yards resulting in instant dismissal.
The bunnies are a bit thin at the moment and I had to wait about four hours for them to appear which they did (not many though) in the last hour before dusk.
All shots were between 320 and 350yds in a pesky headwind and down hill which made it interesting.
Have FINALLY received delivery of 200 rounds of Winchester 22-250 55gn Ballistic silvertip, it only took thirteen months  ,I originally ordered 400 but the price has gone from 50 bucks to 70 for 20 rounds...come on Winchester pull your f***ing head in.
Anyway, I hope to tag a few bunnies out to 600 with this load if I do my bit,
cheers.
