Micro Bunnies.

Post by Elmer » 14 Sep 2018, 5:42 pm

Another windy day in the paddock saw me with the .223 positioned about 300yards away from a small warren
As the day wore on it was clear that the only targets that were game enough to come out and play were little ones, but a Bunny is a Bunny and being so bloody small proved to be very challenging with several misses to piss me off.
Also, with a stiff 10-15mph crosswind cleaning the wax out of my ears I was quite happy(and grateful  ) to get these little critters, especially seeing that they didnt stop hopping around.
All in all it was an enjoyable arvo if not humbling,
cheers
Sean.

Thanks mate , I used to know a American Vietnam vet who was a marine scout, he was an excellent shot and he reckoned all you need is trigger time to be a good shot....and cash to buy ammo

I got lost for a bit and watched a few of the vids which would've explained it to me. Nice looking set up and it seems to do alright too! Some great vids on your channel. Wherabouts in SA are you if you don't mind me asking, looks like there's plenty of bunnies around, loved the Eagle too!

Sean ol Mate,,,,,,,, yer gonna have to shoot shorter distances.
The heat haze etc is making it difficult for us ORDINARY blokes to even see the bunnies.
Keep up the good work Mate.
