As for the cat DJ a dog will eat them they actually like cat as with the goanna well they eat anything meat also pigs and if cats are hungury they will eat their own but usually only parts not the whole lot or not that I've seen

I shot a feral cat up in the Gascoyne and left it where I had finished processing 12 red roos.I discovered I was missing a knife so I back tracked the next day.Found the knife and all the kangaroo had been taken by wedge tail eagles heads and all but the cat was still there

Thats typical hunting country for me.

Not easy. Better to try and ambush the buggers.
